Matthew Lim

I am a 3rd year PhD student in the High Energy Physics group at the Cavendish Laboratory in Cambridge.

I am working on precision calculations in the Standard Model under the supervision of Alexander Mitov. This has relevance to predictions made for observables in the collider experiments at the LHC. My work involves the analytic computation of next-to-next-to leading order amplitudes in perturbative Quantum Chromodynamics processes. I have previously worked on the justification of scale choices in processes involving initial-state heavy quarks.
